Community & Volunteer Work

Giving back to the tech and education communities, and mentoring girls and women programmers.

I serve on the board of the Hollywood Schoolhouse. I'm thankful to be able to serve the school community and a fantastic school that is magical for kids.

I founded Ruby in Hollywood in 2015 to build a community of Rubyists. We met weekly to build apps, learn new languages, and play capture the flag.

I love volunteering for Railsgirls. Each year, it's fascinating to help new women and girls getting started on their programming journeys.
